Role

We are seeking a warm, attentive and service-driven Assistant Waiter who embodies Aman’s dedication to personalised and intuitive hospitality to join Amanzoe, in the Peloponnese, Greece. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Management team, the Assistant Waiter plays an important role in supporting the delivery of refined dining experiences across our restaurants. This hands-on position requires a guest-focused mindset, strong teamwork and a commitment to upholding Aman’s exceptional service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing professional and personalised service throughout the dining experience.
  • Prepare dining areas to ensure they are clean, organised and fully set up according to Aman standards.
  • Support the service team with delivering dishes, beverages and amenities with care and attention to detail.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with thoughtful and warm service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness in all service areas.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless communication.
  • Present menus and support with dish or beverage explanations when required.
  • Uphold Aman service principles, contributing to an atmosphere of calm, refinement and hospitality.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • Fluency in written and verbal Greek and English.
  • Knowledge of an additional language such as French, Italian or Spanish is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented and service-minded attitude aligned with Aman values.
  • You must have the legal right to work in Greece.
