About the role: Based in Madrid and reporting to the EMEA Multinational Product Owner. This role requires someone flexible, adaptable that can take ownership of his tasks/work and focused on providing excellence in Software Quality Assurance and Testing. Strong technical and analytical skills, ability to think outside of the box and to communicate well at all levels of the business. You’ll conduct manual tests to ensure the product created by developers is fit for purpose and passes the testing criteria and successes factors, as defined together with the business.  

You’ll partner with Business Analysts to gather application specifications and coordinate test environments set up; identify, isolate, and document defects concisely in the defect tracking system and drive the increase of test automation coverage, defining the tests scenarios to be used to make sure there are no regressions after each release. You will strongly support the business as usual incidents, fall outs and accompany any tickets raised to resolve issues. 

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the current processes within the Global Service department.  
  • Work with various stakeholders to work identify and analyze system fall outs.  
  • Attending to the tickets created in the system to investigate and solve the issues together with the IT team. 
  • Determine data migration requirements and oversee the migration of data from the current system to the new database. 
  • Analyze and create new business processes based on the capabilities of the new platform, in order to improve efficiency and streamline workflows. 
  • Investigate complex issues identified and if appropriate raise as defects in JIRA 
  • Accountable for Functional and System Integration Testing against previously defined and signed-off business requirements, functional specifications or user stories 
  • Accountable for the elaboration of test scenarios, test scripts and testing evidence to ensure those meet appropriate levels of control for quality, risk and audit purposes 
  • Provide training and support to end-users. 
  • Provide insights and offer recommendations for process improvements, developing actionable plans to implement and measure these improvements. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and delivery on strategic objectives. 
  • Focus on delivering business value through sound testing methods and principles 

 



Qualifications

 

  • Business level of English is a must 
  • Good level in Spanish and other European languages like French, Dutch, German is a strong plus.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio is desirable  
  • Experience working on large-scale IT projects, preferably involving database and platform implementation. 
  • Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a diverse team of stakeholders.  
  • Team player with a high level of initiative and drive 
  • Can traverse System Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing understanding the different requirements of each discipline 
  • Strong SQL experience and ability to understand and query databases is a strong plus. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. 
  • Experience working in a multinational organization preferred. 
  • A passion for taking ideas from inception through to enthusing users with confidence in the delivery
