We're looking for a pro-active and solution-oriented Cleanroom Coordinator, to join our Facility Management team. As a Cleanroom Coordinator at cosine you will ensure that our in-house advanced cleanrooms (more than 1000 m³) & research facilities are well-maintained, safe and fully equipped and utilized. You’ll work closely with our Head of Facility Management to ensure seamless facility operations and you are willing to take operational lead during his absence.
Communication on all levels is one of your strengths. You understand the importance of safety measures and alarm notification procedures. You have at least 1 to 2 years of experience as Cleanroom Coordinator. You are familiar with most aspects of high-tech clean room facilities, including climate control, electricity and the use of gases such as compressed air and nitrogen. You are also able to document procedures and processes.
Your profile
Responsibilities and tasks
- Ensure smooth, compliant, and reliable operation of cleanrooms and technical infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, propose improvements, and support energy-efficiency initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, process gas, DI water, vacuum, and power systems.
- Supervise technicians and contractors in contamination-controlled environments.
- Maintain cleanroom documentation, logs, and validation records.
- Further develop and maintain procedures to handle alarms, malfunctions, and remediation.
- Act as deputy for the Head of Facility Management when needed.
- Participate in facility upgrade or expansion projects.
Qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Facility Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in technical facility operations, preferably in a high-tech or R&D environment.
- Extensive knowledge of cleanroom systems and environmental control.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills; attention to safety and compliance.
- Good communication across multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in Dutch; English proficiency required; German/Italian beneficial.
- VCA-VOL certification is an advantage.
