We are on the lookout for a Client Advisor to join our client's Global Real Estate team in Malta.

Role Requirements

Reception & Communication / Client Servicing

  • Deliver account management services for an assigned client portfolio, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Conduct client onboarding in line with internal processes and procedures.
  • Handle risk placements according to established operational models.
  • Provide day‑to‑day servicing for the EEA client portfolio.
  • Manage all renewals effectively and ensure completion within agreed timelines.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support coordination of insurance programmes in collaboration with colleagues in UK teams.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations for new and renewal business.
  • Prepare market and client documentation.
  • Review policy documents and related paperwork for accuracy prior to issuing them to clients.
  • Provide documentation to clients in line with internal procedures.
  • Address client queries professionally, including changes in cover or risk.
  • Resolve account queries promptly and accurately.

Finance & Documentation

  • Assist with the preparation and issuance of contracts and sales invoices.
  • Support daily billing activities and maintain accurate records.

Candidate Profile

  • 2–5 years experience handling property & casualty or real estate lines, either in broking or underwriting.
  • Working towards or holding a Diploma in Insurance (CII) or equivalent.
  • Strong willingness to continue developing knowledge through internal and external learning.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of an additional European language is an advantage.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel to the UK.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional business relationships.
  • Sound judgement in knowing when to work independently and when to involve team members.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Professional negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory controls and procedures applicable to insurance brokers.
  • High attention to detail and strong motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common office software applications.
