Key responsibilities
In this role, you will play a central part in driving sales execution excellence and scaling a high-performing team of Sales Specialists within the Robotics Business Segment – General Industries in the DACH region. You will report directly to the DACH Sales Manager – Robotics, General Industries and be responsible for coaching, developing, and enabling a portion of the Sales Specialist organization while ensuring consistent sales execution and alignment with regional strategies.
You will support front-end sales execution in a multi-channel environment, working both in direct end customer engagement and indirectly via system integrators and partners. The portfolio is product-driven, complemented by system solutions.
The customer landscape consists of key accounts as well as a broad base of small and mid-sized customers, requiring structured and scalable sales execution in close alignment with the DACH Sales Manager.

This role contributes to the Robotics Business Segment – General Industries in DACH.
Main stakeholders are Sales, System Integrators, Channel Partners, Product Management, regional and global Business Line Management, and regional/country sales organizations.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Specialists, ensuring strong sales execution and continuous professional growth.
Translating regional sales strategy into clear team objectives, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.
Ensuring disciplined application of sales processes, including pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and effective CRM usage.
Serving as a key escalation and support point for complex customer interactions and deal progression.
Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and providing market and customer insights to support regional planning and go-to-market effectiveness.
Driving performance tracking and coaching conversations to enhance individual and team sales effectiveness, including regular feedback, training needs assessment, and competency development.

Qualifications for the role
Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial roles within industrial automation, robotics, or related markets, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Demonstrated potential and aptitude for leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals; prior formal line management experience is advantageous but not required.
Strong understanding of front-end sales methodologies, consultative selling, and stakeholder-oriented sales processes.
Experience using CRM systems and sales performance tools to drive data-based decisions and track team execution.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field; additional leadership or sales training is a plus.
You are at ease communicating in German and English (French and Italian are a plus)
You are willing to travel approximately 60%, primarily within the DACH region
You hold a current driving license valid in DACH and a valid work permit where required
