Transform your passion into profession and dive into the world of video game localization with us. We are currently seeking Freelance Translators and Proofreaders to expand our database for various projects. The tasks will be done through a memoQ server, Phrase, or Smartling.
YOUR ROLE
Translating and proofreading content primarily related to Blizzard video games (World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch 2, and/or Diablo Immortal). We are currently seeking linguists in the following language combinations:
- CET Time zone: English US into Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish LATAM, Spanish Spain, Italian, Korean, French, German, and Polish.
- APAC Time zone: Simplified Chinese into English US. English US into Traditional Chinese.
Your profile
- Excellent skills in target language.
- Excellent skills in source language.
- Translation and Proofreading experience required.
- Experience of translation and proofreading content related to video games.
- Knowledge of CAT tools (in particular memoQ, Phrase, and Smartling).
- Knowledge of Plunet TMS.
- Games translation or proofreading, and avid gaming experience on Blizzard video games (World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch 2, and/or Diablo Immortal).
- Available to work during Central European Time (CET) or Asia-Pacific time (APAC) depending on project requirements.
- Available to work on Weekends and Bank holidays.

- Your hourly rate (for transcreation, familiarization, test reviews, CSA, and LQA).
- The games you translated (including a Moby Games profile or crediting info).
- The games in which you are an avid gamer.
- A cover letter, and a recommendation letter about your games translation experience.
