Maintain deep knowledge of international healthcare systems, pricing regulations, and payer decision-making processes across diverse archetypes (HTA, clinical benefit assessment, etc.) and purchasing mechanisms (institutional, tenders, etc.). Anticipate market access opportunities and risks and develop proactive action plans to address them.
Design and implement pricing and market access strategies and associated tactics to achieve, maintain, and defend optimal prices and reimbursement for the PDx portfolio in international markets, both at the national and sub-national levels.
Support regional and local adaptation of global strategies and payer value propositions (PVPs).
Lead HTA and P&R submissions, including negotiations with payers to secure access at target prices.
Collaborate with industry associations, patient organizations, and medical societies to influence legislative and policy initiatives.
Work effectively in a highly matrixed environment, partnering with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial, and Global Product Management teams.
Ensure the Voice of the Payer is embedded in all relevant cross-functional decisions.
Act as a subject matter expert to continuously integrate market access considerations into broader organizational strategies.
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in healthcare, business, or economics preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical sector with strong expertise in international pricing and market access, particularly in top 5 European markets.
Proven experience in developing pricing strategies, conducting price analysis, and managing payer negotiations across multiple geographies.
Prior interaction with healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical business customers.
Comprehensive knowledge of European payer engagement, reimbursement processes, and regulations throughout a product’s lifecycle.
Experience supporting product launches in key European countries.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with payers and stakeholders; excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in healthcare, business or economics is preferred.
Solid understanding of health economics and related methodologies.
Experience in radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics.
Ability to work successfully and cooperatively across multiple cultures and geographies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is highly valuable.
