Description

The PE / Clinic Groups Sales Director is responsible for accelerating product growth and long-term value creation across European Private Equity–backed clinic groups, health systems, and strategic corporate accounts. This role focuses on building enterprise-level partnerships, shaping market access and commercial strategies, and driving sustainable revenue growth across diverse and highly regulated EU healthcare markets.

This position will lead the development and expansion of high-impact, long-term partnerships with C-suite and senior leaders across European Private Equity platforms, national and regional clinic groups, and integrated delivery networks. The role is accountable for aligning commercial, market access, and reimbursement strategies to drive adoption, scale, and profitability across a portfolio of complex, multi-country accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, deepen, and sustain trusted advisory relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers across European Private Equity–backed platforms, clinic groups, and health systems, positioning the organization as a long-term strategic partner.
  • Develop and execute enterprise-level account strategies that reflect the complexity of European healthcare systems, including public vs. private funding models, reimbursement pathways, and country-specific market dynamics.
  • Lead commercial strategy and execution across assigned accounts to ensure revenue growth, market expansion, and achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
  • Negotiate, implement, and optimize complex commercial agreements, framework contracts, and product integrations, ensuring strong pull-through at country and site level.
  • Partner closely with Market Access, Marketing, Medical, and Regional Sales teams to align brand strategy, reimbursement planning, and local execution.
  • Navigate highly matrixed, multi-country accounts to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities, sharing insights to inform regional and global strategy.
  • Support pipeline introductions and portfolio expansion by aligning clinical value, economic outcomes, and customer priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across the EMEAI organization to ensure consistent execution while respecting local market requirements.
  • Monitor account performance using data-driven insights, adjusting strategies to address market changes, reimbursement shifts, or organizational restructuring.
  • Represent the organization at key European industry meetings, congresses, and customer forums relevant to strategic accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership on account performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
  • Operate with resilience, adaptability, and sound judgment in a fast-paced, evolving European healthcare environment.
  • Ensure full compliance with all corporate, regulatory, legal, and ethical standards, including EU-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 15 plus years of experience in senior commercial, sales, or strategic account roles within medical device or pharmaceutical organizations
  • 10 plus years of experience managing complex, enterprise-level healthcare accounts across European markets
  • Experience working with Private Equity–backed clinic groups, health systems, or multi-site healthcare providers in Europe
  • Strong understanding of European healthcare systems, including public and private funding models and reimbursement pathways
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical
  • Experience negotiating and executing complex commercial, framework, or distribution agreements across multiple countries
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, multi-country environments and execute through ambiguity with excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required 
  • Fluency in English required, additional European languages preferred
