🌟 Opportunity: Sales & Commercial Business Developer – Luxembourg - Accelerate commercial development performance at the heart of Europe’s 🌟

We are looking for a Sales & Commercial Business Developer to shape and drive the next phase of growth at Aperam Services & Solutions Luxembourg. In this role, you will lead the commercial development strategymarket expansion, and sales innovation across Europe and beyond. You will report directly to the Commercial & Sourcing Officer.

🚀 Your Mission:
Drive the Development of Commercial activities by increasing the number of customers,  markets, shipments & unlocking new potentials, applications for  Aperam Services & Solutions Luxembourg as a premium, sustainable supplier across Europe and targeted growth regions.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Growth & Diversification
    You will identify and develop new customer segments in fast-growing industries and lead our geographical expansion 
  • Margin & Pricing Strategy
    You will implement intelligent, value-based pricing strategies that adapt to price fluctuations while protecting product mix and profitability. You will reinforce our technical selling approach to create long-term customer value.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Industry Influence
    You will activate your senior network to establish partnerships with major players in Engineering Procurement and Construction, rail, energy, and capital goods sectors. White gods.. You will also represent Aperam in key industry associations to promote sustainable stainless steel and position us as a leader in low-carbon CO2 footprint.

🎓 Your Profile:

  • Education: Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or similar. An MBA is a clear differentiator for this position.
  • Experience: 10+ years in business development roles in stainless (long or flat), with a track record of delivering double-digit kilotonne growth and defending margins in volatile pricing environments.
  • Network: Strong C-level connections across energy, mobility, construction, and capital goods sectors.
  • Languages: Fluency in English & French is required. German, Italian or Polish is considered a strong asset for regional expansion.

  • Analytical & Digital Fluency: Skilled in using real-time data and digital tools (e.g. Power BI, GIPSI) for pricing, planning, and performance steering.
  • Strategic Execution: Able to translate vision into concrete action, balancing long-term goals with short-term impact.
  • Resilience & Agility: Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, with strong stress management and adaptability.
  • Prioritization & Autonomy: Highly organized, self-directed, and focused on what moves the needle.
  • Influence & Communication: Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions, cultures, and seniority levels.
