Your mission
1. Sales and Business Development- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively seek out potential customers.
- Expand the client base by engaging with key decision-makers in target industries.
- Promote and sell a range of machinery products, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, collect industry and competitor information, and develop sales strategies.
- Lead the product development team to improve products to meet market demands.
- Assist with product certification and licensing in the UK and Ireland to ensure compliance with local regulations and market entry requirements.
2. Customer Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide technical guidance, and resolve issues efficiently.
3. Sales Administration & Budgeting- Monitor and manage sales budgets, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers to maximize profitability.
- Chase outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from clients.
4. Coordination with Other Departments - Collaborate closely with the service, parts, and aftermarket teams to ensure seamless support for customers.
- Work with finance and accounts teams to track payments, credit terms, and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional strategies, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Engage with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of machinery and parts.
- Address any customer concerns related to machinery performance, service, and repairs.

Your profile
- Proven experience in machinery sales, construction equipment, MEWPs, or a related industry.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while being a team player.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and sales processes.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full UK driving license (or applicable license for the location).
