About the Role

This is a career-defining opportunity to shape the future of pricing within the veterinary sector. As Strategic Pricing Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how millions of pet owners across Europe perceive value for money—while unlocking meaningful commercial impact for MVH Europe.

You will lead the continuous development and refinement of MVHE’s pricing strategy, underpinned by robust data, market research, and customer insights. Your work will directly improve profitability, customer adoption, and promotional effectiveness. This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Strategy, and regional teams, ensuring pricing decisions are customer-centric, commercially sound, and aligned with brand positioning.

 

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with regional Operating Units and cross-functional teams, you will:

  • Implement and continuously enhance MVHE pricing strategies across regions, services, products, customer segments, and clusters.

  • Partner with Global Strategy, Data & Analytics, and Finance to develop and improve pricing processes, tools, datasets, and methodologies that drive accuracy and efficiency.

  • Conduct and consolidate market research to understand price sensitivity, competitive pricing trends, and competitive positioning indices.

  • Collaborate with OUs to define list pricing, promotional pricing, and discount/write-off guardrails across markets and service lines.

  • Define and track key pricing performance indicators, including indices, price realization, revenue, price per visit, profitability, customer acquisition, value perceptions, and NPS.

  • Partner with Central Operations to support pricing implementation and ongoing revenue protection initiatives.

  • Work closely with the Global Client team to co-develop and deploy global pricing capabilities where applicable.

  • Lead and develop a team of two Senior Pricing Analysts.

 

Experience Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related analytical field (required)

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent relevant experience (preferred)

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, marketing analytics, or similar analytical roles

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience

  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including pricing models, elasticity analysis, market research, and P&L understanding

  • Demonstrated success in delivering pricing strategies that drive measurable commercial improvement across multiple European markets

  • Experience operating effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment

  • Proficiency with pricing tools, data analytics platforms, and financial modelling
