The Role
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Simply.TV, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner for our key clients. Your mission is to ensure customers gain maximum value from our data and technology solutions — helping them integrate, optimize, and grow with Simply.TV. This role combines technical expertise, problem-solving, and customer empathy. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure our clients’ success — from onboarding and implementation to proactive support and long-term relationship management.
Responsibilities
You are successful when:
- You build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, deeply understanding their technical environment and business goals.
- You provide proactive guidance, roadmaps, and best practices to help customers optimize their use of Simply.TV’s metadata solutions.
- You collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to resolve complex technical issues and deliver impactful solutions.
- You monitor account health, identify potential risks, and act as the customer advocate during escalations.
- You lead technical reviews, onboard new customers, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities to drive mutual growth.
- You document technical activities, track open items, and maintain clear and actionable account plans.
- You stay current on product updates, new features, and industry trends to anticipate and address client needs.
RequirementsQualifications
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- University degree in a relevant area, e.g. Business or Data
- 0-3 years experience as a Technical Account Manager in B2B tech or metadata
- Have exceptional written & spoken English skills (additional European languages are a plus)
- Have a passion for technology, innovation, and customer success.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
- Are an excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear and simple language.
- Enjoy working collaboratively across technical and commercial teams.
- Are comfortable learning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is key.
- Are full-time available and eager to build lasting client relationships.
