Operations & Professional Services
Description

We’re looking for a Time & Attendance Specialist to support accurate time registration, payroll inputs, and system operations across the European West Cluster.

About the Role

In this role, you will manage daily T&A system operations, ensure payroll input accuracy, and provide functional support for UKG. You’ll play a key part in stabilising processes during a transition period, with a particular focus on the Netherlands. You’ll collaborate closely with HR Operations, Payroll, Operations, and the Product Owner – Time & Attendance.

*This position is located in either Amsterdam or Tilburg, Netherlands

How You Will Contribute

T&A System Operations & Payroll Outputs (Cluster Scope)

  • Prepare, validate, and deliver standard payroll input files from UKG (e.g., overtime, allowances, TvT/leave usage) aligned to agreed payroll calendars.
  • Run system‑based checks and rule validations to ensure accurate time registration and payroll inputs; flag exceptions to local HR Ops/Payroll for resolution.
  • Monitor daily T&A processes, interfaces, and cut‑offs to ensure data flows correctly and on time into payroll systems.
  • Support payroll cut‑offs through oversight and reporting (no employee‑facing case handling).

Functional Support & Configuration Assistance

  • Serve as the functional escalation point for T&A system questions from HR Ops and Operations.
  • Provide functional UKG support (user access, roles, workflows, delegation setup, standard troubleshooting).
  • Support testing, releases, and change implementation under the guidance of the Product Owner.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and system documentation to enable consistent use across the cluster.

Reporting, Data Quality & Governance

  • Partner with BI/reporting teams on standard T&A definitions, data logic, and system insights.
  • Track recurring data‑quality issues and trends; drive root‑cause resolution with HR Ops, Operations, and IT.
  • Contribute to the standardisation and simplification of T&A processes across the cluster.

Transition & Continuity

  • Provide hands‑on system support during the transition phase—with a focus on NL—to ensure payroll stability as the cluster model is implemented.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and contribute to automation and process improvements to reduce manual corrections and dependencies.
  • Support the redesign and handover of local activities to the appropriate owners as the target operating model is established.

Collaboration & Back‑Up

  • Work in close collaboration with the Product Owner – Time & Attendance on priorities, improvements, and issue resolution.
  • Act as a trained functional back‑up to the Product Owner to ensure continuity of T&A system support.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Proven experience in Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, or HRIS/T&A system support; UKG experience is highly preferred.

  • Comfortable working in cross‑country, matrix environments.

  • Fluency in English; other European languages are an advantage.
  • Clear communication and a collaborative, service‑minded approach.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work across countries and teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the West Cluster.
