We are building the European leader in device-as-a-service. Profitable, acquisitive, and preparing to scale across borders, we need a world-class operator to architect the next phase of growth.
The Company
Mobile Club Group is redefining how businesses and consumers access technology. Through our three brands, mobile.club (B2C device leasing), Cleaq (B2B IT equipment leasing, acquired 2024), and Next Mobiles (B2C, merged 2025), we operate 70,000+ active leasing contracts and generate over €30M in annual revenue, profitably.
Our growth strategy is built on three pillars: a proven M&A playbook (one acquisition and one merger completed in under 18 months), a clear trajectory toward institutional private equity investment, and an ambitious European expansion plan currently being prepared. We are a team of ~50, operating with a lean, high-leverage model that prioritizes smart processes, automation, AI, and strategic partnerships over headcount.
This is not a company in search of product-market fit. This is a profitable, scaling platform preparing for its next inflection point, and operations excellence is the engine that will get us there.
The Role
This is not a maintenance role. You will be the architect of operations for a multi-brand, multi-country group in a phase of rapid expansion. Reporting directly to the COO and functioning as their strategic partner, you will own the full operational stack: supply chain, logistics, procurement, asset lifecycle management, and partner operations.
Our operating model is deliberately lean. We leverage a strategic logistics and refurbishment partner (based in Lille) as our operational backbone, complemented by a tightly managed network of procurement and service partners. Your job is to make this ecosystem perform at the highest level and scale it internationally, not to build a large internal operations team, but to design systems, processes, and partnerships that compound efficiency as we grow.
What You Will Own
Operations Strategy & Execution
• Define and execute the operations roadmap across all three brands, aligned with the group's international expansion plan
• Own the full device lifecycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, refurbishment, and asset revalorization
• Design scalable operational frameworks that can be replicated in new markets with minimal friction
Partner & Ecosystem Management
• Manage and challenge the strategic logistics partner on cost, quality, SLAs, repair rates, and capacity planning
• Structure and negotiate partnerships with device suppliers and service providers across the value chain
• Be the single point of accountability in case of major operational incidents, driving rapid, structured resolution
Procurement & Asset Strategy
• Lead the group's procurement strategy for leased devices (new and refurbished), managing tens of millions of euros in annual spend
• Optimize acquisition costs, lot quality, and stock availability in coordination with commercial and financial forecasts
• Directly manage the Procurement Specialist and build out the purchasing function (processes, tools, reporting)
Data-Driven Performance
• Build and maintain operational dashboards in Tableau (volumes, lead times, costs, quality, asset rotation, incidents)
• Implement alerting mechanisms to catch operational drift before it impacts the business
• Translate data into decisions, not just reporting, but genuine operational intelligence that drives action
Strategic Contribution
• Serve as the COO's sparring partner on growth, profitability, and scalability
• Actively contribute to M&A due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and cross-brand harmonization
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Product, Tech, and Customer Care to ensure end-to-end alignment
Who You Are
We are looking for an exceptional individual. The kind of person who brings structured thinking, relentless execution, and strategic ambition to everything they do. Here is what we expect:
• Top-tier academic background from a leading business or engineering school (HEC, ESSEC, Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Sciences Po, or international equivalent: LSE, LBS, Bocconi, etc.)
• 5-8 years of professional experience, ideally combining a first chapter in strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or investment banking/PE, followed by operational roles in high-growth or tech-enabled environments
• An obsession with operational excellence: you think in systems, you measure everything, you automate what can be automated, and you never accept "good enough"
• Fluent in English (our international operations language) and French. Additional European languages are a plus
• A problem solver at the core: you break down complexity into actionable steps, you are comfortable with ambiguity, and you move fast without sacrificing rigor
• Entrepreneurial energy: you thrive in environments where you build from scratch, not where you inherit a well-oiled machine. You want ownership, impact, and velocity
Why This Role
Direct partnership with a high-caliber COO: our COO brings a background that combines investment banking at Lazard, C-level experience at a major entertainment group, and a track record as an exited founder. You will work hand-in-hand with someone who speaks your language, challenges your thinking, and expects excellence. This is a true strategic partnership, not a reporting line.
Real strategic exposure: M&A integration, international expansion, PE preparation. This is a front-row seat to building a European category leader.
Build, don't maintain: you will design the operational playbook for multi-country expansion. The systems you build will define how the company operates for years to come.
A modern operating model: lean team, heavy automation, AI-augmented processes, strategic outsourcing. If you believe operations should be smart, not just big, this is your playground.
Equity upside: meaningful stock option plan (BSPCE) with significant upside potential as the group scales toward institutional PE investment.
Package
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and caliber
Stock option plan (BSPCE) with vesting over 4 years
Office: spacious headquarters, 5-minute walk from Gare Saint-Lazare, Paris
Flexibility: 1 remote day per week
Team: regular offsites, team events, and a culture that values ownership and speed over politics
