DescriptionThe Warehouse and Transportation Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Church by ensuring gospel teachings, resources, and services are accessible to all in a simple and affordable manner. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end distribution operations, ensuring that the supply chain from the Distribution Hub functions efficiently and effectively to deliver essential gospel materials to members. The specialist ensures that Church-approved materials and supplies are delivered in the right quantity, quality, and timeframe, while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Accept and process customer orders using the warehouse management system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to facilitate efficient order handling, shipping, and delivery.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to order fulfillment and delivery.
- Prepare and manage shipping documents, invoices, and customs declarations for international shipments.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of exportation processes.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or distribution roles, preferably within a 3PL environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent English oral and written skills. Any other European languages is advantageous.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to follow standard procedures and written instructions to complete assigned tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software tools to support operational efficiency.
- Experience with inventory management systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, is required.
