Business Development Manager – CDMO (m/f/div)

HENNIG ARZNEIMITTEL, headquartered in Flörsheim am Main, is a modern, medium-sized pharmaceutical company with over 300 employees and part of the Italian family-owned Final Group. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an employee (m/f/div) for the position of Business Development Manager – CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization).

• Acquisition of new customers and contracts in the field of pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing (CDMO)
• Identification and development of new market opportunities and sales territories
• Analysis of the competitive landscape and derivation of strategic actions
• Coordination and internal alignment regarding customer inquiries, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations
• Close collaboration with technical departments to further develop the CDMO service portfolio
• Key account management for existing CDMO clients, including monitoring of contractual obligations and timelines
• Responsibility for ensuring the profitability of the existing CDMO business
• Clear communication of project potential and required activities to internal stakeholders
• Reporting to: Head of Business Development & Alliance Management
• Location: Hennig Arzneimittel GmbH & Co. KG, Flörsheim am Main, Germany
  

• Completed university degree in a scientific, technical, or business-related field
• Several years of professional experience in business development or key account management within pharmaceutical contract manufacturing and/or licensing
• Strong network with CDMO clients and relevant market stakeholders
• Proven experience in contract and commercial negotiations
• Resilient and assertive personality with entrepreneurial and goal-oriented mindset
• High level of self-motivation, energy, and excellent organizational skills
• Team-oriented, communicative, and reliable personality with strong performance and success orientation
• Hands-on mentality and solution-driven approach
• Experience in project management
• Excellent English skills, German or Italian language skills are a plus
