Content Moderator – Travel Platform

This position is ideal for candidates who want to develop their career in an international environment while living in one of Portugal’s most vibrant cities. The role focuses on safeguarding the quality, accuracy and safety of user-generated content related to travel experiences.

You will review and validate online submissions such as photos, reviews and property information, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and maintaining a trustworthy environment for travellers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Review user-generated content, including text, images and travel-related submissions.

– Approve, reject or escalate content based on established criteria.

– Identify misleading, inappropriate or non-compliant content.

– Select primary photos for properties when required.

– Escalate complex or sensitive cases to specialised teams.

REQUIREMENTS

– Fluency in Italian or French, plus English (minimum B2).

– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

– Previous experience in customer service or content moderation is an advantage.

– Background in travel, hospitality or online booking platforms is beneficial.

– High attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies quickly.

– Solid computer literacy and comfort working with online tools.

– Minimum education level: completion of secondary school (12th grade).

– Clean criminal record (to be provided by the candidate).

– Valid work permit, residence card or legal authorisation to work in Portugal.

WORKING CONDITIONS

– Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 09:00–18:00

– Two rotational days off per week (one full weekend off per month)

– Holidays: 22 days (not permitted during the initial period)

CONTRACT & TRAINING

– Six-month contract, renewable depending on performance

– Training: 3 to 4 weeks, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00
