Within the Amadeus Travel Unit, Travel Distribution Operations brings together worldwide activities related to delivery services, go-to-market, learning, and customer support—playing a key role in every step of the customer relationship.
In Delivery Management, we take ownership of a wide range of delivery activities for customers and support the commercial organization. We act as the entry point for managing operational relationships with customers and stakeholders.
The European Delivery Management team is the main contact for the commercial team of the European Travel Sellers unit. Our purpose is to:
Coordinate diverse delivery activities, leveraging expert resources across multiple domains.
Take ownership of end-to-end delivery projects, providing relevant KPIs and reporting.
Support budget planning, setup, and execution within the delivery organization for European Travel Sellers.
Contribute to defining the service portfolio and strategy and ensure its implementation.
Manage a variety of delivery activities for customers across Europe.
Take ownership of project scope, timelines, risks, and escalation handling.
Coordinate implementation and cross-functional teams effectively.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, Pre-Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams during delivery projects.
Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure smooth communication.
Support pre-sales and customer success initiatives by providing delivery expertise, involving domain experts when needed, and validating timelines and resource availability.
Provide regular, comprehensive reporting on scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and mitigation plans. Capture client feedback and translate it into improvements and opportunities for added value.
Work collaboratively with a hybrid team of Delivery Managers across Europe.
Relevant experience in the travel industry or similar customer-focused environments (ideally 3+ years), e.g., as a Consultant or Project/Implementation Manager.
Previous experience in business solutions and/or delivery management.
Understanding of travel agency workflows or ability to learn quickly.
University degree or equivalent professional experience.
Fluency in English; additional European languages (especially German) are a plus.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Comfortable using tools like Microsoft 365, Jira, and Confluence, or eager to learn.
