JOB OVERVIEW:

At COLORS, the Line Producer anchors all productions with financial, operational, and logistical expertise. This role ensures that collaborations with internal and external partners are executed seamlessly — on time, within budget, and to COLORS’ highest standards. The Line Producer thrives in complexity, balancing multiple stakeholders and deliverables while protecting COLORS’ creative integrity and operational sustainability. The role translates and bridges budget realities with our creative vision.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Define and manage budgets and schedules for small and large-scale productions across our in-house studios in Berlin and NY, as well as remote productions for content and/or IRL.
  • Oversee cost tracking, vendor negotiations, risk management, and financial reconciliation of internal and external productions
  • Build and refine systems for budget templates, freelance and vendor databases, and support our teams to define and stay-in budgets
  • Oversee and regularly improve for compliance (contracts, POs, receipts, payment schedules, insurance, legal requirements) 
  • Ensure best of use of internal resources (e.g. equipment,  staff), as well as negotiate best rates with freelancers and vendors to be cost-efficient 
  • Mentor staff and freelancers in financial and logistical best practices.
  • Contribute to COLORS’ long-term scalability by creating repeatable systems for campaign execution.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 7+ proven years of work experience in production and finance  
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable navigating both creative and operational aspects of projects including accountability over budgets and deliverables 
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working across departments and balancing multiple stakeholders.
  • Has strong communication skills in English & German (with any other European languages being a plus), especially when aligning with internal departments and external partners.
  • Has an interest & and is attuned to both the COLORS brand and wider landscape of music, culture, fashion and lifestyle.
