About the Role
We are partnering with a leading global organisation from the professional services sector, which is expanding its HR operations in Poland. As part of a strategically important growth initiative, we are seeking an experienced People Services Team Lead to manage and develop a growing HR People Services function.
This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced HR leader to build a best-in-class HR service organisation, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the establishment of a high-performing team supporting multiple international markets, including English-speaking regions such as the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the HR People Services team, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery in line with global standards and agreed SLAs.
- Provide expert guidance on complex HR cases, applying employment law knowledge and best practice within a global context.
- Support and coach Tier 1 and Tier 2 HR teams, acting as an escalation point for operational and employee lifecycle issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and professional development within the HR team.
- Manage team performance, conduct regular one-to-one meetings, and oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal HR policies across all HR processes.
- Oversee resource planning, workload distribution, and capability development to optimise team performance.
- Use HR analytics and dashboards to track team performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Partner closely with global HR Centres of Excellence and other stakeholders to align local operations with global HR strategy.
- Contribute to and lead HR transformation initiatives and global process harmonisation projects.
About You
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in HR service delivery or shared services, ideally within an international or complex organisation.
- In-depth understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience leading multinational or cross-cultural HR teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and motivate others to achieve operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience with HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Fluent English (C1/C2 level); additional European languages are an advantage.
