About the Role


As a Customer Engagement Specialist at MetaCompliance, you guide our DACH as well as Englisch speaking customers through their entire journey — from the first product demo to a successful rollout of our SaaS platform. You will work across two key phases:

 

1. Pre-Sales Support

You work closely with our Account Executives to help potential customers understand how MetaCompliance solves their cybersecurity awareness challenges. You set up trial environments (no deep technical background needed), highlight the most relevant product features, and help shape a compelling evaluation experience.

 

2. Post-Sales Onboarding

Once a deal has closed, you take the lead. You plan and deliver structured onboarding, train customers on the platform, and ensure a smooth and confident start. You coordinate with Support, AEs, and Customer Success to set customers up for long-term value and adoption.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding customers, explaining technology in a clear and practical way, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced SaaS environment.


What You’ll Do


Pre-Sales

  • Partner with Account Executives to position MetaCompliance effectively during the evaluation phase
  • Prepare and configure customer trial environments using templates and guided steps
  • Identify 3-5 key themes (“Hot Topics”) that matter most to each prospect
  • Deliver clear, engaging demonstrations and walkthroughs that highlight value
  • Join trial calls and support customer questions throughout the evaluation period
  • Ensure all demo materials, decks, and documentation are up to date and tailored to the customer’s needs

Post-Sales Onboarding

  • Take ownership of the customer journey once the contract is signed
  • Deliver structured onboarding programs (e.g., 30/40/60-day plans) across multiple platform modules
  • Train end users and admins on how to use MetaCompliance effectively
  • Guide customers through setup, configuration, and early adoption
  • Coordinate with Support for technical issues and escalate when needed
  • Work closely with AEs and CSMs to ensure a smooth handover and clear success milestones
  • Track onboarding progress and drive activation, engagement, and early value
  • Maintain clear documentation and provide best-practice recommendations


What You Bring


Must-Haves

  • Fluency in German and strong communication skills in English
  • 1+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (Onboarding, Implementation, Customer Support, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, or similar)
  • Experience working with SaaS products
  • Strong presentation, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage several customers and projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and translate it into simple explanations for customers

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in SaaS onboarding, implementation, or enablement roles
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, digital compliance, or IT concepts (training provided)
  • Experience working with Account Executives, CSMs, and Support teams
  • Prior exposure to Pre-Sales work (even light support)
  • French or any other European language is a plus
