As Sales Director – Strategic Verticals (m/f/d), you will drive Damovo’s pan-European growth across key industries - including Defence, Public Sector, Health, Retail, and more. You will define how Damovo partners with clients to transform their digital ecosystems, ensuring the company is seen as a strategic advisor and innovation leader across Europe.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this is a high-impact leadership role where strategic vision meets hands-on execution. You’ll shape how Damovo wins, grows, and strengthens customer partnerships across multiple industries.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement the pan-European vertical sales strategy across Defense, Public Sector, Health, Retail, and emerging verticals
- Define clear growth targets and drive delivery against revenue, margin, and profitability goals
- Collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams to align local execution with the overall vertical sales agenda
- Identify, qualify, and secure new strategic customers across target verticals.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, including multi-stakeholder negotiations, tenders, and framework agreements
- Strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, industry bodies, and ecosystem partners to position Damovo as a trusted transformation partner
- Champion Damovo’ s full solution portfolio (CX, UC, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Digital Infrastructure) to create integrated, high-value propositions
Market Intelligence & Positioning
- Monitor market dynamics, regulatory developments, and competitive trends within each vertical
- Translate market insights into compelling offerings that meet vertical-specific challenges and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Delivery to ensure messaging consistency and competitive advantage
Leadership & Collaboration
- Inspire, mentor and lead a high-performing, customer-focused sales team across regions
- Serve as a thought partner to the Group Sales Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement
Performance & Governance
- Define, track, and report KPIs, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making
- Provide regular business updates to senior leadership on pipeline, forecasts, and market opportunities
